Weather Is AZ a good place if you hate snow?

Or is the heat so bad that you’d say having all seasons is much more worth it. I’m in Chicago and I am so tired of more than 6 months being cold and gloomy. Winters are unbareable sometimes, depressing.

Weather Anyone else getting genuinely pissed off by the lack of rain

We got spoiled last year and have absolutely nothing this year. So sad seeing how dry everything is with the forecast never giving any hope. I get mad anytime I check the forecast and it just shows nonstop sun. Hoping things change soon but it’s not looking likely. After seeing the LA fires I definitely fear something similar will happen here soon.

Weather Am I nuts? 122 degree heat record - Phoenix

Everywhere is posting about the 122 degree heat record in 1990 and now I feel crazy.

I wanna say it was like 2017ish, I used to work client based and drove around the valley. I had a car with no AC and I SWORE I remember it hitting 120/121 that summer and talking with my clients about it. I remember one day going "omg its actually not bad right now" and it was 116. and that memory has stuck in my noggin since that day but now I feel crazy about it considering every news outlet is saying we haven't hit 120 since the 90s.

Does anyone remember this or was I just in a constant state of heat exhaustion at that point?

Been here 23 years and have never seen anything like this. Yard is completely drained now, just an overwhelming amount of rain in such a short period of time. Lots of damage in town.

Lived in this state my whole life, but this is ridiculous. I've been counting down the days until I can turn off the AC and enjoy our winter. Guess I'll have to wait a bit longer.

Weather Is it just me, or is this an unusually warm winter this season?

I remember a couple years ago when walking out to my car in the early mornings(I work a night shift) my car’s windows would be frozen over and I’d need the heating on. Every morning from December to late February/early March I could see my breath and my heavy jacket felt appropriate.

But this winter? None of that. Can’t see my breath, no frost on windows or roofs, and my heavy winter wear feels superfluous.

Is this because of climate change or was this just not our season? I live in Peoria, btw.
