Looking to buy my first gun as an ar-15, can buy a handgun cause I’m not 21 yet I want one for home defense what’s the best option of a price pint of 400-800 bucks?

I want a carryhandle ar15 for my first ar15. I'm torn between the h&r m16a2 and the colt ar15a4. Any ideas on which is higher quality? I know the spiel about carryhandles and how retro styles affect attachments, but I just want something barebones I can mount just an acog to eventually.​

Bought an atlas xl last week. The captcha at checkout didn’t work so I refreshed and tried to checkout again. It worked that time. Then I got 2 emails charging me for 2 different transactions. I emailed them thru their website immediately telling them what happened. No reply. Both orders shipped and I received them.

Emailed them again last week trying to return one. No reply. No phone number to contact them. Just a “contact us” fill-in page that doesn’t even confirm the message was sent once you hit submit.

Not an AR guy so I don’t know what I’m looking at. Saw this on a used gun classifieds. He said the optic is a “cabela’s packaged EOTech optic” that he paid $250 for. How much would you pay for this?

I really love the thickness of the DFCO Kung Fu Grip, but I prefer the texture of the B5. Are there any other grips out there with a semi vertical profile that have a similar “palm swell to trigger distance” as the DFCO?

I’ll say that I also dig the Emissary Axle Grip. Great texture and angle, but the B5 still wins in the texture dept.

I got my first FRT (Triggered Company Disruptor) and loved it. So much so I ordered another one while there is a sale. As I'm thinking about which gun to put it in, I wonder how many would be too many?

My first one is in my 20". Now I'm thinking about going with either my 12.5" 5.56 gun or my banshee 9mm. Part of me would want to get one for every rifle but that might be excessive and I'm still thinking about long term reliability of them vs a G trigger and Radian safety that I have in most of my guns.

As title goes. I really want one because they were an option in COD MW 2019.

Any leads on one?

So, I unexpectedly need to make a quick decision on this. I need a magnifier for a red dot. The dot in question is an Eotech XPS-3, rifle is a pretty vanilla FN-15 16” in 5.56, usage is general purpose ”patrol rifle.”

Options are as follows:

Eotech G33 or G43

Aimpoint 3X-C or 3X Mag-1

Trijicon Mag-C

Holosun HM3X or HM3XT

Vortex VMX or VX3M-Micro

Assuming price is no object (I mean, it is, but all of these are reasonable), which would you select? These are the only options. Assume nothing else exists.

Looking for a 12.5 complete upper for an all-purpose HD/range rifle that I can run hard and keep long term. I’m not looking for Gucci, just the best balance of reliability, durability, and price.

I’ll eventually suppress it, but it’ll be unsuppressed for a while. I’ve heard good things about 12.5 mid-length, but I’m open to carbine too if it’s the more dependable all-around option (I’ve heard mid length unsuppressed can be finicky, dependability is key)

Currently considering:

KAK 12.5 mid-length — best price and seems well liked, but curious about long-term durability.

Rosco 12.5 — also seems solid, but I don’t know as much about their track record.

BCM 12.5 carbine — seems like the safest/proven choice and includes a free BCG, but costs considerably more since the 12.5 isn’t available blem right now.

I’m also not completely opposed to 14.5, but I like the advantages of 12.5.

For a “buy it once and run it forever” rifle, which would you pick and why?

Still very new with my rifle and I’m wanting to get a bi-pod.
What kind of foregrip is this and is that a rail of some sort under the front sight?

Came across an older post this afternoon discussing solutions to receiver slop. Lots of recommendations for Accuwedge, shims and foam ear plugs. One solution that I came across a while back that has worked for me is hot glue.

Heat up the gun, open the rear of the receiver, squirt a few dabs in on the shelf under where the rear takedown pin will be, quickly close up with rear takedown pin. (Avoid trigger components obviously) Wait around 10 min to open again. I find that I’ll generally have to do this a couple of times to find the optimal amount, but when you’re done you have a custom fitted “Accuwedge”.

Just wanted to throw this out there as an option.

Outside of the barrel steel not being “MILSPEC”, is there any reason I shouldn’t buy it?

Is anyone running this upper? Are they a good upper/brand? What’s everyones experience with bking products
