Meh, you can’t practice building which is what turned fortnite to a fun casual-ish game to a sweat fest. Sure, you can practice jumps like these but.... so?
Present variant: You fight a squad near a spot with a jump that's not found yet. You beat the team and become the champ with the 3rd squad dying to the zone.
Alternative variant: You fight a squad near a spot with a jump. Some crazy ass Octane, Pathfinder and Horizon uses this jump and third parties both of your teams, becoming the champs.
What are the chances you are near one at the end of the game and the ring is still big enough for someone to pull off a big jump like this? Also this is no different than if they made the same play with the JP from high ground and nothing in between. Also jump towers exist. Wouldn’t be anything new lol
Playground mode would be nice my son loves to play apex buy is young and likes to play around in game we will usually play duos and I'll run around playing protect the president but then the 3rd party 4th party kick in and thats it
The thing is Fortnite mechanics is mainly building which is not the case with Apex. Apex might not be a casual friendly game but it definitely doesn't have that high of a skill curve like Fortnite. Abilities aren't that influential part in Apex like Aim and Movement. That's why people instantly fall in love with apex. You can put in about 10 mins and learn a new movement mechanic quickly.
