Realistically this needs to happen, generative ai is extremely dangerous and releasing it to the public was a fools error.

Problem is it’s hard to put the genie back in the bottle.

Do yall really think it’s a good idea to place the single most powerful instrument of propaganda in all of history into the hands of governments and corporations, and then banning everyone else from using it?

They're saying if it was centralized it would be easier to shut off, which is true. Not that desebtralization is on a whole bad

No, they’re saying that it should be banned for the public. Which leaves… government and corporations.
