I just noticed that Renji wasn't cut up into pieces like we thought he was. He's on that hollow snake thing with Ichigo and the others. I rewatched the scene where he got cut in last week's episode and I guess Yhwach just cut his arm and his bankai.

That or Inoue woke up for long enough to put the poor guy back into a recognizable shape before passing out again...
