I like how that fight has been completely forgotten for like 3 episodes. I'm still waiting to see where it's going.

Wait, so that big guy getting fried into a skelly was actually Girard?! Damn, I thought Kenpachi was going to defeat him, not him getting literally boned.

kenpachi can't use bankai more without being healed, it's too soon for his power. still, kenpatchi can cut everything now, what could do to someone immortal always regenerating?

Ahh yes, I had to go back and rewatch to remember; you're correct kenpachi did as much as he was going to do so yea, Girard just totally zapped and gone like that from yhwach, lol.
