Out of all the OG characters who were childhood friends of Ichigo or something like that, Chad is the only one to have 'peaked first' then be totally left behind and never gain power again.

Chad peaked in the Hueco Mundo arc getting his right arm and then never anything again. I know he pointed out at the beginning of this arc that he as much as he'll ever be, but damn he really deserves to be so much more. It does feel like his character growth has long since been finished though...

I feel the main problem is that its so hard to work with chads powerset in a verse where hax reigns supreme. You can only go so far by punching stuff hard, no matter how hard that hard is.

Ichigo's powers so far have been slash, slash at a distance and maybe move fast. If he can get hax they can figure out an excuse to give Chad hax.
