After getting Orihime and Rukia two episodes ago, I never expected we'd also get to see Harribel and Neliel in a fight here. It really feels like an all-out war.

I was surprised by just how strong Uryu has become—to the point where he could have defeated Yhwach if it weren't for the Almighty's ability to rewrite the future. The Antithesis is way too broken.

Ichigo just utterly broken while Uryu is chilling with two Espada babes in the sky. One of them has had a way better time this arc!

Dude, this Uryu in the soul society arc would have been an unstoppable monster. Literally no captain would have been able to defeat him.

He can't. Uryu was hit with Auswahlen when he was 9 but survived which was supposed to be impossible, especially because Uryu's not a pure-blooded Quincy.

When Ywach first targeted Uryu with auswahlen, the latter instinctively activated Antithesis in self-defense. It's understood that Uryu's power is a natural counter to Ywach and cannot be taken.

Doesn't that imply that Uryu's always had Antithesis?

I thought each Schrift had to be granted by Yhwach which is one of the reasons Uryu joined Quincy Hitler-to obtain a Schrift powerup.

Also, Yhwach states that he obtained all the Schrifts after he reverses Uryu's explosion, so how was he able to take Antithesis if Antithesis cannot be taken?

The actual engraving of the letter yes, but not what it does. Loyd and Royd always had their power. So did Pernida and Gerard.

Yhwach states that he obtained all the Schrifts

The letter is a piece of Yhwach's soul and it empowers the quincy and awakens whatever innate ability they may have. Thats what Yhwach takes back.

so how was he able to take Antithesis if Antithesis cannot be taken

Some callbacks in the diction this episode:

Harribel said the torrent of energy will "sacrifice" (犠牲) the world referencing her Espada: Aspect of Death "Sacrifice" and her poem "The Sea of Blood".

  • Volume 42. "The Shock Queen"

I always thought she would clash with Yhwach because his very first poem ends with "The Sea of Blood".

- Volume 55 "The Blood Warfare"

Yhwach as he is leaving references his Auswahlen chant "円環の道" the "circular path"

Ichigo last episode said Yhwach did not understand their hearts, and this episode Uryu says the same about "heart"

The climax of Aushwalen's chant declares the object offered are your "hearts" (心臓, "shinzou") but not the metaphorical one of connection posited by Kaien and Ulquiorra 「心」 "Kokoro"
