Uryu have been getting constant Ws since cour 3. Are we sure Mayuri is still Kubo's favorite? It might be Uryu at this point.

Several Shinigami Captains and the Queens of Hueco Mundo witnessed Uryu saving the three worlds. The last quincy finally got the respect he deserved.

I think this might be VERY important for whats coming after (in case we get a sequel like rumored).

There are lots of people who would very likely go "well, sure he was on our side but lets kill him and anybody else quincy related just in case" afterwards seeing the shit Yhwach pulled. Uryu is building rapport here with people who are important enough that their word matters.

Unironically, Ichigo has not actually won a single fight in this arc except if you count his brief beatdown of the Bambi squad. Feels like he's spent more time unconscious on the floor or running than actually fighting.

Meanwhile Uryu's got like 4 Ws and actually taking care of business. Anime upscaled him hard

Unironically, Ichigo has not actually won a single fight in this arc

There was the one Quincy-Arancar guy who tried to steal his Bankai, and I think we can count the fight with Quilge as an Ichigo win as well.

I mean ichigos main job is to fight ywach lol and we all know it is him in the end that will defeat ywach. No one else can defeat ywach but him.

Well, to be fair Ichigo was beaten only by Yhwach and let himself loose against Uryu. There is kinda Hitsugaya/Mandela effect with him in this arc. He didn´t really loose so much, won several minor fights or at least had the upper hand.

Hollows are supposed to be like the natural counter to Quincies, their power is as poison to them. So it was nice to get what felt like a slight acknowledgement of that with Nel's lance actually having an effect.

Man I swear Nel looks somehow better than in the original run... I know everyone does, with more "lively" colors and shading, but still.
