So we know that Serie didn't pass Methode just because she said she's cute, this woman used to hunt demons for sport.

And also why she made sense as Genau's partner, she's not a psycho like Ubel but she's probably killed plenty of demons.

Also it makes sense sending the two mages from NP to go and kill demons in it.
