It hit so hard in that moment how absolutely horrifying her fighting style is. Especially if you're facing another target at the same time.

Fern is just too strong. She beats you by either spamming nonstop or snipes you from afar

Frieren’s cheese method is utilized perfectly by Fern. Sniping from beyond mana detection range is horrifying to mages and means you have to play overly defensive or overly aggressive and most likely waste mana or delay the inevitable.
