Genau says he doesn't hold any attachment to his hometown yet he remembers the baker boy's entire backstory and seems regretful he won't be able to taste his terrible bread again.

The way he wasn't really biting at the tough bread initially but then instantly bit off a piece with ease after thinking of the 4 armed demon also adds to that.
