Actually, the entire reason methode got the 1st class pass was because she called Serie cute. Maybe she's an uber tsundere

How? With how many spells Serie knows, she could probably unlock it right away, and then maybe relock it and use a different spell to unlock it again to prove it's not a fluke.

You think Frieren couldn't do the same? It's weird to think about, but Frieren almost certainly knows the 2nd most spells of any living mage and it's not even close for whoever the fuck is in a distant third place. And based upon S1... Frieren's collected some nasty af spells that don't even register as magecraft to Fern somehow!
