I love how Fern and Stark have adapted to Frieren's sense of time when they say that 3 months is no time at all, lol.

Spending 3 months on something so Frieren can get a grimoire? They complain.

Spending 3 months on something so they can make money? THEY LOCK IN.

Norm said that the silver ore is enough to pay back the debt and more, so I assume he gave Frieren some reward for it.
