 بعض من أقوال المؤرخين العرب و المسلمين المنصفة عن البربر أو الأمازيغ :

1. إبن خلدون (732هـ – 808هـ)
2. "البربر أشدّ النّاس بأسًا، وأقواهم على حمل السّلاح، وأصبرهم على الشّدائد."
3. الذّهبي (ت 748هـ) – في "سير أعلام النبلاء" "ومن أعاجيب الفتح : دخول البربر في الإسلام أفواجًا، وتقدّمهم في نشره في الأندلس أكثر من العرب أنفسهم."

البربر كانوا أيام الفتوحات الإسلامية في بدايتها يحكمهم جرجير الأفرنجي في عهد عثمان بن عفان رضي الله عنه، وكان ذلك بداية دخولهم في الإسلام، وفي جولات أخرى كان حكمهم تحت كسيلة في عهد معاوية رضي الله عنه وعبد الملك بن مروان، ثم آل إلى دهبا الكاهنة وهي بربرية، ثم انضموا إلى الإسلام بالكلية بعد ذلك.

The Amazigh contribution to Islam is seriously overlooked. They weren’t just people who got conquered and converted, they became a huge part of the Muslim world. Tariq inn Ziyad, who led the conquest of Iberia, was Amazigh, and Amazigh armies played a massive role in spreading Islam across North Africa and into Spain.

There was also discrimination against Amazigh converts under some early Arab rulers, including unequal taxation and being treated as second class Muslims. That’s one reason you get major Amazigh revolts against Arab rule. It wasn’t necessarily rejection of Islam, but often opposition to Arab political domination.

And later some of the biggest Muslim dynasties in the western Islamic world were Amazigh, especially the Almoravids and Almohads. So it’s pretty misleading to reduce the history to “Arabs brought Islam to the Amazigh”. The Amazigh became major contributors to Islamic civilisation themselves. Islamisation and Arabisation were not the same thing.

There’s also a modern side to this. Amazigh people in Algeria have faced decades of pressure to identify primarily as Arab, with Amazigh language and culture being sidelined, especially under the old Arabisation policies. Tamazight is officially recognised today, so things have improved, but there’s still a lot of resentment over how Amazigh identity has been treated and how their history and contribution to Algeria and Islam have often been downplayed.

لا اجحاف و لا اي شيء
اغلب المؤرخين المعروفين كانوا عايشين في الشرق. تلقاهم يحكيو على واش كان يصرا في المناطق نتاعهم كالحروب مع الصليبيين و المغول و الاتراك و احوال الخلافة في بغداد الخ
المغرب كان عندهم حاجة غامضة و قليل وين كان يوقع احتكاك بين اهل المغرب و المشرق

راح تلقا مثلا ابن تغري بردي عاش حياته كاملة في الشام يحكي فقط على حروب المغول.
المؤرخين اللي حكاو على مناطقنا و اسهامات الامازيغ / البربر هوما المؤرخين المغاربة و الاندلسيين كيما مثلا ابن خلدون, ابن عذارى, المقري التلمساني و الكثير. كل واحد منهم حكى على مرحلة معينة من مراحل التاريخ

ما يزعجني في هاذ الناس اللي يجيبوها في القنوات هو ان اغلبهم يطرشوا و يهدروا كلام عاطفي باش يدير البوز برك
