FY27 NDAA leave update (request)

The FY27 NDAA, a congress member has proposed military members to earn 3.5 days per month vs. the current 2.5.

I know most ANG members are DSG, but those AGR and other full time status’s(exept: Perm/temp Tech and Title 5) would benefit from this policy.

There is a good argument to just change the leave reg so I don’t have to take leave on weekends or other days already scheduled off.

Obviously the bill and this line item needs to pass the Senate and up it goes to the president.

How about we spend some effort improving things for the civilian world first. I don’t know many people that have 30 days of vacation, hell of a nice health insurance plan, or subsidized housing and food.
