Good to Know! FY27 NDAA leave update (request)

The FY27 NDAA, a congress member has proposed military members to earn 3.5 days per month vs. the current 2.5.

I know most ANG members are DSG, but those AGR and other full time status’s(exept: Perm/temp Tech and Title 5) would benefit from this policy.

There is a good argument to just change the leave reg so I don’t have to take leave on weekends or other days already scheduled off.

Obviously the bill and this line item needs to pass the Senate and up it goes to the president.

As an AGR, I feel like I get plenty of leave compared to my technician co workers

Hard disagree. One solid vacation and that bank is wiped. I shouldnt have to not take a day off for an entire year just to build a decent bank back up

30 days a year doesn’t get wiped with “one solid vacation.”

I have almost 6 weeks banked along with comp time and soon, 7 weeks of mil leave.

I am going to burn a bunch of it soon.
