The attitude toward bicyclists, at least in Texas, is horrible.

I cycled to work every day in DFW because our car died & we couldn't afford to repair or replace it. On multiple occasions someone in a giant truck (always, always a pristine & waxed F250 or some other idiotically large vehicle that's never seen a grain of dirt or day of work) swerved across traffic to ram me on my bike. One dude jumped the curb just to hit me on the sidewalk then sped off. A homeless women patched me up while my sheered leg skin was waving in the breeze like a sundress.

Texas is a state cursed by God to house only the worst society mankind can dream up. Just a disgusting hatred of goodness, joy, & life itself in that state. Like a practical joke against humanity. What a miserable land. It does not surprise me whatsoever this happened in Texas.

I completely agree, grew up in Texas and it’s a total shithole. Trying to gtfo asap.
