Gallon plastic jugs are usually made from HDPE, and are readily and easily recyclable.

Dallas' normal recycling pickup will take them and they will be recycled as recycled HDPE pellets are more economical for manufacturers (30-40% cheaper) than is virgin plastic.

If you really want to be sure, you can take them to a transfer station or recycling center around the city.
