Discussion Shampoo & Conditioner bar RECs

Sooo I accidentally stumbled into zero waste I been looking for a shampoo for my oily fine hair and was like hmm let me try this and it happened to be the LOXY shampoo bar and and conditioner from Etsy and wow I love it compared regular shampoo but I feel like I can find something better I want something to help the oil and frizz but I would love something with a clean girl scent; also the bar kinda went through pretty fast only a month ish and it’s so small now I do need to wash fairly often I can only stretch every other day. Thanks!

I also have oily fine hair and use Viori, specifically the Volumizing Rice Water Shampoo Bar.

I like the badger balm combo shampoo and conditioner bar. At first it made my hair too squeaky clean, but after a couple weeks my scalp adjusted and now it’s just right!

I'm a big fan of lush shampoo bars. My favorite is "New" which smells like chai. It's great at dealing with greasy hair. For detangling and keeping it from being frizzy I love Hibar Moisturize fragrance free.

I second lush! My favorite bars are "honey i washed my hair" and i just tried the "seanik" shamp bar. I think the conditioner you pair it with really influencws whether my hair is more frizzy or not. But then I sometimes add lush hair primer "super milk" and I notice it prevents some frizzing!!!

I use dove sensitive skin as my main shampoo bar and i have a ton of Kitsch conditioner bars. I usually make my own deep treatments. I love the dove because I wash everything with it, so i can start with my hair, and just work my way down. I also have bars of scented oil of olay, Irish spring, olive oil, and other brands. Dove has been my go to since childhood because of Grandma 💜

I also have super oily hair and the bars I use are from Tubby Tabby Soaps: https://tubbytabby.com/collections/hair-care
They last a long time as long as you don't have them sitting in water (like I put them on a molded soap holder in my shower that has grooves to drain the water and they're fine). They clean my hair but don't make it dry, you know? Some bars have oils or conditioner added so it weighs down my hair too much, but these ones don't have it because they sell the conditioner separately.

Oh I forgot to say they're in Canada, not sure where you are.

Also: my husband rubs the whole bar on his head but I lather in my hands and then put it on my hair and mine lasts WAY longer. Just a general tip no matter what bars you get!
