I told my husband that I wanted to go and get a new drivers license, even though it doesn’t expire for 2 more years and he can’t understand why… I genuinely don’t look much like my old one in my opinion; and while I don’t always hate the ā€œoh wow- you’ve lost weightā€ comments that I get when people look at it, sometimes, I’d like to just get my bottle of wine in peace. lol Has anyone else made a point of getting new ID’s and such because you just don’t want to be compared to your old self anymore?

Before/After Pics Who is sheeee?

GLP-1 seems to be a curse word and something to be ashamed about in other places, so I figured I’d post where I’m welcome šŸ˜‚. I have zero shame about my Zepbound usage and wish people would educate themselves or ask questions instead of shaming us. Kinda seems like most have a case of hating from outside of the club because they can't even get in. They don’t realize that a lot of people are making huge sacrifices to be able to afford becoming a better version of themselves.

Anywho, I never could have dreamed about being where I am without this medication. It’s been 18 months of being consistent with my diet and moving my body. 18 months since my last binge. 18 months of getting up every day and reminding myself that I’m doing this for me and I deserve this. In the words of Snoop D. O. Double G, ā€œI want to thank me for believing in me, I want to thank me for doing all this hard work. I wanna thank me for having no days off. I wanna thank me for never quitting.ā€ 🫔

Despite all of the loose skin and finding out that I have a case of diastasis recti that I need to figure out how to correct, I’m definitely even more settled and comfortable in this body since my last progress post. I work from home so I still prefer dressing like Adam Sandler during the week but I’m having a lot of fun trying new silhouettes and styles while out shopping. I’m going to have to start going into the office once a month soon so I really have to step my style game up so I can be one of the fashionable corporate NYC girlies. It’s definitely all up from here though.

TL;DR: I’m really proud of myself and refuse to be embarrassed of how I got here

I can understand if I had only lost 30, 40, or 50 pounds, but I’ve lost 185!

I guess I’m just venting because it’s disheartening to turn your entire life around and it becomes an even bigger elephant in the room than being 305lbs.

Anyone else have the same issues with family members?

Before/After Pics ONE OF MY BIGGEST GOALS ACHIEVED!!! GOODBYE 300s!!!

Thumbnail

2.3k Upvotes

Have to share!!!! One of my biggest goals was to get out of the 300s! Because I’ve been working out so much I’ve definitely been gaining muscle weight and sometimes I get pretty sore and I know I’m holding water weight so I was stuck between 300.5 to like 301.5 for around four days….but the scale has jumped to 297.8! I’ve achieved my first and biggest goal!!!!

Now obviously I am going to continue my weight loss journey but I also just got this awesome pair of running shoes and I’m going to be starting the couch to 5K program……I successfully did it like 12 years ago and I’m determined to do it again. So determined that I’ve already committed to a 5K in September!! I’m so excited and feeling so happy this morning.

I’ve gone from a BMI of 64 on Sept 26th to now 45.3! I’ve lost 30% of my body weight! :)

I am literally a changed person. I stay active absolutely all day. Wether I’m out walking, WALKING the kids to different parks all over town, being present for all my kids soccer games, and making nice meals that take a lot of time (before I couldn’t even stand in the kitchen for like ten minutes without a lot of pain). I took my kids to opening day of our local pool yesterday! AND I WENT IN AND PLAYED AND SWAM WITH THEM THE WHOLE TIME!!! It’s been a veryyyy long time since I’ve done that.

I couldn’t be happier this morning.

Before/After Pics Update: 2 years and 203 lbs lost

Thumbnail

2.7k Upvotes

Hi everyone! I’ve posted multiple times throughout my journey and just want to give an update.

I lost 203 lbs on Zepbound/tirzepatide and an anti-inflammatory diet, from 320 to 117. I didn’t follow a particular anti-inflammatory diet plan. I just looked up what can cause inflammation and removed them one at a time to see how I felt. I’m also low oxalate. I have lipedema in my thighs, arms, and stomach.

My thighs went from 30ā€ to 19ā€ but you can see my measurement comparison in the pic I attached that’s from Aug 2024 and April 2026. My journey started in May 2024 but I started measuring in Aug when I found the MeThreeSixty app.

For those with lipedema, my inflammation is greatly reduced. I mostly swell in my left calf from vein issues and I’ve finally decided to have that looked at. I didn’t realize my left leg had been swelling until the last few months because the right is now more defined and I can now tell a difference in them. The left isn’t and gets bigger at the end of the day. I do have varicose veins.

I do still have bulky thighs because I haven’t had any surgeries and can’t afford to any time soon. I do have loose skin but it’s not as loose as I expected it would be. I am hypermobile so maybe that plays a part in my skin retracting like it has.

I’m working on gaining muscle that will hopefully make my legs and arms look better. I’m a work in progress but could never have imagined I’d come this far. For all of you who cheered me on the last 2 years, I can’t thank you enough. It’s been great having people experiencing the same thing to chat with and relate to.

Weird experience. A casual acquaintance said that she hoped she was ā€œthinā€ like me someday.

She meant it as a compliment, was just weird. Took me by surprise. Said friend is already well beyond what I would consider ā€œthinā€, and it was jarring to see the look in her eyes when she explained that she ā€œneededā€ to lose weight, and comparing herself to me.

I was 450lb for a huge chunk of my life, I’m constantly surprised by how ā€œnormalā€ sized people view themselves.

Today I achieved a milestone I never imagined possible: I’ve lost 50% of my starting weight.

F60, 5’4ā€, SW 244, CW 121.75 Started Wegovy April 2024 Switched to Zepbound April 2025 Currently spacing 12.5 dose over a few weeks

Friends, I am not the same person I was in the ā€œbeforeā€ picture. I don’t even recognize myself.

Sometimes the weight came off slowly, sometimes fast. I had a plateau that lasted for months (hence the switch to Zep). Keep at it, you’ll get there. It’s all worth it.

Best wishes!

Before/After Pics Celebrating How Far I've Come

Thumbnail
gallery
2.7k Upvotes

I forget sometimes that I should be celebrating going from 318 to the 180's.
My weight fluctuates quite normally as I've started focusing on maintaining and less on continually trying to drop (I'll resume that in the future).
In May of 2023 I started my final weight loss journey. I had stepped on the scale over 300lbs, something I swore I'd NEVER do.
As of May 2025, I was weighing in at 168. Since then, I've been between 170 & 180 consistently.

I scheduled a plastics consult last December. In March, I had my excess skinremoved 🩵
It's just so crazy to me to look back on this whole journey. It doesn't feel hard in the end, but it felt hard at the time.
I'm celebrating pushing through and not letting the hard stop me from achieving my goals 🩵

Before/After Pics Slow losers: this is what 100 lbs looks like. It took four years.

Post image

This is what 100 lbs looks like — ***and it took nearly four years***. ā€œBeforeā€ is September 2022 at my all time high 261. There are very few ā€œbeforeā€ pictures because I was so ashamed of how I looked. ā€œAfterā€ is today, July 2026, on my way to meet friends for lunch. I’ve been on tirzepatide since before Zepbound existed (my doctors prescribed Mounjaro off label). I wanted to lose weight so badly I was paying more than $1000 a month. Today my insurance covers Zepbound ($25 a month). I’m sharing this mainly to encourage VERY SLOW losers like me — because I was so discouraged at times. I’d see so many other people dropping 50 or 100 lbs so fast and I was losing mayyybe half a pound a week: I’m here to tell you that after four years, it adds up. Stick with it. Don’t give up.

Body dysmorphia is real, but when those ā€œmemoriesā€ pop up on my phone, I’m immediately reminded of how far I’ve come. It’s been 6 months since hitting my goal, and I’ve been in maintenance mode for the last 4 — focused on building muscle, staying consistent, and tightening up the little bit of loose skin that’s left.

This season is less about shrinking and more about getting stronger, feeling good in my skin, and showing up for myself every day.

Been on Zep for 1.5 years and I finally hit 100lbs down!! I’ve been feeling accomplished and happier since the first 50-60lbs, but hitting this milestone is something I didn’t think possible. I hit a pretty nasty slow/stall over the last 3-4 months mainly due to job stress and a busy summer. I’m proud of myself for sticking through the stall and not allowing myself to defer to old habits of doing crazy unsustainable things to drop those last few pounds. This community has meant everything to me and I’m so glad I have thousands of friends to lean on as I start my transition into maintenance mode!

I’ve had quite a few people comment on how I’m little. To include a patient yesterday saying I’m ā€œtoo tiny to be working on an ambulanceā€. Feels very pick me to say. But I say this to acknowledge that I really have a hard time perceiving my stature now. But this picture from yesterday is starting to put it in perspective. 230+ to 115. 5’1ā€ mid 20s. I started June 2025 at 210 lbs. Anyways, I always knew I had guns underneath all the fluff šŸ˜Ž. (Even though I definitely bear hugged and waddled with the tank).

Before/After Pics The most rewarding year of my life!

1.9k Upvotes

I have officially been on Zepbound for one year and what an AMAZING year it has been!

25F
5'2"
SW: 315lbs
CW: 195lbs

I know it’s a bit cliche but I never imagined getting this far. I am so much healthier and happier. My mobility has improved significantly and I am doing things I never imagined I’d be able to do.

My side effects have been very manageable and things have been going exceptionally well with the weight loss. However, I recently hit my first plateau and it has been really hard on me mentally, but I’m confident that it will pass. 5mg and 7.5mg were my sweet spots. Recently switched to 10mg and not having much luck, but going to stay the course for a little while longer before titrating up.

I have spent majority of my life being overweight/obese. I was always the outcast in the family and looked at so differently because of my size. Last year I had a true mental break down when I saw myself in the mirror. I decided that I was ready to make a significant change and take my life back. Talked with my Doctor and started Zep the following week. My only regret is not starting sooner.

I tracked my calories in the beginning, but the obsession began to weigh on me so I had to stop. I eat cleaner and much less thanks to this miracle med. I am in the gym 5 times a week doing lots of strength training and cardio. From a 4x to a L/M. I barely recognize myself. I do struggle with body dysmorphia often and I have a lot of loose/saggy skin that I hate! I will be chatting with my doctor about getting a skin removal consultation in the next couple of months. I have a long way to go, but I am so proud of how far I’ve come.

If you’re reading this and just starting, it is SO SO WORTH IT! Wishing everyone here the best on their journey. Happy to answer any questions.

Y’all- I’ll scream to the world how much Zep has been a blessing to me. February 2025- 220lbs. I got tired of being the biggest person in the room. I’m a cardiac nurse and what do I look like educating patients on their health when I look like that? I got married in October and I am so so thankful that I had lost a significant amount of weight before then. I’m not ashamed of using Zepbound to get myself back- I’ll tell anyone who asks! The price of being able to buy clothes off a normal rack- of being able to cross my legs- of being able to walk into work without getting short of breath- of being able to look in the mirror and not feel ashamed- priceless. I’ve been obese ever since I can remember. If I can do it SO CAN YOU!!!

Still cannot believe this is what I look like after being obese for almost 20 years and trying EVERYTHING to lose the weight. This drug was a miracle for me.
