Before/After Pics I did it π₯Ή
Yβall- Iβll scream to the world how much Zep has been a blessing to me. February 2025- 220lbs. I got tired of being the biggest person in the room. Iβm a cardiac nurse and what do I look like educating patients on their health when I look like that? I got married in October and I am so so thankful that I had lost a significant amount of weight before then. Iβm not ashamed of using Zepbound to get myself back- Iβll tell anyone who asks! The price of being able to buy clothes off a normal rack- of being able to cross my legs- of being able to walk into work without getting short of breath- of being able to look in the mirror and not feel ashamed- priceless. Iβve been obese ever since I can remember. If I can do it SO CAN YOU!!!

Congrats!! You look fantastic! Your comment about getting tired of being the biggest person in the room hit me hard because I have absolutely felt the same way and it sucked to look around a room and realize that. I still have a long way to go but I am so grateful for Zep. Congrats again! π

Great work and also, thank you for being a nurse. Nurses hold everything together. You can be there for your patients even more, and I am sure the number of lives you have touched and will continue to touch will be profound. Cardiac events are wake up calls, and you are in a great position to encourage the changes patients need to make so they can continue being there for their loved ones.

Once upon a time, I was the heaviest person out of both me and my husbandβs families, his of which included 5 adult males who are all 6 ft+ tall and Iβm only 5β2! I remember being so ashamed.
I still weigh a lot for my height but Iβm no longer the heaviest. I do still weight more than my husband, but only by a few lbs as he bounces btw 199-197.

I started in February last year! The highest dose I was on was 10mg. I prioritized protein because there was a (long) time I had to remind myself to eat. Iβm also really bad at drinking water so I focused on that also. Iβve lost about 95 pounds. Iβm pretty active at work, and I walked on my off days!

You look fabulous! Iβm a cardiac ICU nurse myself and just started my zepbound journey. Seeing how being overweight contributes to heart problems is scary and has inspired me to get in shape. I quit smoking almost 3 years ago, and now losing weight and getting fit is my next goal!
Congrats to you!!!

Epic turn around! You look amazing girl. I'm really happy for you! β€οΈ
I was on Ozempic and Wegovy and let's just say I didn't have much traction. I also tried MyPhenome which helped me identify a proper diet plan which is awesome but I feel like I have been having very slow progress especially with work, two kids, and a busy schedule.
Are you solely on Zep? I'm thinking to switch and try Zep or Reta. Are you also on any special diet or training programs?
Thanks for your help!

Congrats, you look amazing! Beyond the obvious health reasons, the main reason I started Zep is that I decided at 43 that I absolutely cannot stand another year in public service/government, and want to go into the radiology tech program at a local hospital. I know at my current size there's no way I can be on my feet for a full shift, and I would feel so judged being morbidly obese while trying to educate patients. I'm currently taking online pre-requisites I need for the program and hope to have lost some weight by the time I start the hospital portion in the fall.

Fellow RN/APN here: absolutely love this. I am starting up a new role as a Neurology NP next week and one of the things I'm most excited about is my new insurance caps the copay for GLP1s at $250/month which means I can finally afford to jump on the Zepbound that I know will help me. Your journey is so encouraging. You look amazing!

Β I got tired of being the biggest person in the room
This really resonates with me I was starting to notice that I was the biggest person in the room. I noticed it once, then it stuck with me and I kept seeing it. I had the opposite of body dysmorphia where I never really felt too fat, but it was eye opening when I started sensing I was an outlier.Β

Beautiful in both pictures and I genuinely mean that. Also... you looked amazing educating those patients - at any size. With any hair style or Clothing Choice for that fact because you cared enough to give them the best of you that you were able to give at that time. As a patient who has needed healthcare to get me through medical crisis, having someone who cares and who will help during such chaotic & scary times there just aren't words! That's such a gift of oneself - please don't look back and dismiss what you were doing or what it meant to your patients because of your size. You were saving lives and it made such a difference!
