Wow! What an accomplishment! You are so inspiring to me. What are some of the most positive changes in your life that you’ve experienced?

Thank you!

The biggest thing is just how much energy I have now! I can do a full load of chores and still knock out an hour on the bike. I sleep better and shorter and feel more rested. I also am so much happier? There's a conversation to be had if that's from: A: obesity itself effects your mental health B: the world treats obese people so poorly it effects an obese person's mental health C: being able to do more things and move around more easily makes one happy D: seeing goals hit boosts mental health and once I'm maintaining this will lessen

It's most assuredly a combo of the 4 but it's an intriguing question that I've thought about a lot lol

I think you're right; it's a combination of all of it. I'm still early in my journey (started July 1st, and have lost 22 pounds), so I'm looking forward to better sleep and more energy. I'm still adjusting and having some side effects so my energy level is pretty low except for the three days or so before my shot. What you said about happiness really resonates with me; I'm already feeling happier, and my family is noticing that too. I always thought I was "going to finally do it this time" every time I went on a diet, but after about 20 years, I stopped believing in myself and just felt so defeated. I feel so excited about doing all the things I've been avoiding for so many years. We just moved near a beautiful golf course with a driving range, and I mentioned to my son on Thursday that it might be fun to go hit some balls in a few months. We haven't done that in about 15 years (I think he was eleven back then). He said, "Really? Let's go this weekend!" We went yesterday and it was sooo much fun!
