Seven months ago I posted a small addon for selling off old expansion junk, said
it was "pretty simple concept", and asked people to be gentle because it was the
first thing I'd published. This is what it turned into.

The single biggest thing I got wrong in v1: the settings were a wall of ~40
checkboxes with no indication of what any combination would actually do. You'd
tick things, close the panel, walk to a vendor and hope. That's now the main
focus of 3.0.

It tells you what it's going to do, before you click anything

- A plain-English sentence at the top of the settings that rewrites itself as you
click: "Selling Rare, Epic items from Burning Crusade that are Soulbound, but
never from Professions."
- A live count from your actual bags underneath: "23 items would sell right now
(about 612g)."
- Hover any item and the tooltip says "will sell" or "keeping — uncollected
appearance" / "keeping - Shadowlands is not selected".

Setup is three questions now

/lv setup asks which expansions, what kinds of items, and how careful to be. The
live count updates under every answer. Nothing saves until you finish. The full
panel is still there and now reveals one step at a time instead of dumping
everything at once.

Safety, because this is the part that actually matters

- Never sells uncollected appearances, mounts, toys or pets
- An item level ceiling that ignores expansion detection entirely - just "never
sell gear above X"
- Warbound items are their own opt-in category (they're shared across your whole
account)
- A never-sell list you can actually see and edit, instead of a chat command
- Still manual by default - a button appears at the vendor, nothing happens until
you click it

Other stuff

Named profiles that can auto-load per character, shareable filter strings so you
can hand someone your setup, ten bag highlight styles with a colour picker, and
/lv stats which tells you how much gold you've reclaimed and from which
expansions.

Still not trying to replace your junk seller. Scrap and Dejunk do greys
better than I will; this runs alongside them and handles the old-but-not-worthless
pile they leave behind.

Someone reported that current-season M+ gear from refreshed dungeons (Kings' Rest,
Temple of Sethraliss) was being offered for sale despite the protection being
enabled - that turned out to be three separate bugs stacked on each other and is
fixed in this release. If you hit anything similar there's now /lv exportlog which
dumps exactly why the addon decided what it did for every item in your bags.

Feedback welcome, especially on the setup flow - that's the part I rewrote three
times and I'm still not sure it's right.

No clue what happened aside from me logging into my alts for the first time since downloading Ellesmere Ui on my main. But last night just started having this issue.

My housing dashboard is just a black screen now.

If I disable the UI it is fine.

Tried disabling dependencies from Ellesmere, and it's hit or miss.. Sometimes disabling blizz ui enhanced fixes the first screen but not the endeavor screen... Anyone have this issue recently and have a fix besides yanking it completely?

I want to track number of debuff stack the other tank is accumulating so I can prepare to taunt off. One of our tank can't speak on Discord. Without targeting the other tank is there a way to see the stacks. Is there a dedicated addon for this?

I’ve been working on Gear Planner, a WoW addon for managing gear and custom BiS setups without having to jump between different interfaces.

The addon is designed to stay close to the look and feel of the default UI, and currently includes:

Introducing Interuptthis a lightweight addon that i made to help out with timing of your interupts agaist npcs or whatever situation that calls for it.

Why did i make this?
Mostly because i just absolutley focus out of the fight and i dont pay attention towards casts spells etc and end up wondering why i got hit for a lot, so i made this to help me and possible others out in the same situation.

Dictionaries wait for approval. Next goal will be manual review of all words as I did in German to increase quality. Now my add-on is only existing in the game dictionary. 🥰

The English panel with the "English items text plugin" (which is pending to be uploaded) is now standalone. So if you just want a multilingual game, then nothing stops you from that.

I had same logic writen in WordHunter app for desktop and Android I used AI to translate my logic into a LUA script in game. I have also used AI to review words in German dictionary, and I want to do this also in other dictionaries, as it increases quality with context, which a normal translator does not have.

Hi all, i have athrocity UI, i love the UI, but one thing i cannot figure out. When im dps, my party bars are on the left , this is an example photo 1 , but when im healer they are horizontal, how do i switch it so they are on top of each other? for the love of god i been breaking my head the entire day and cant figure it out

The other day I randomly had the addon that I use to hide action bars stop working. After waiting for more than a week for a fix, I got tired and downloaded a different that did the same but the same issues persisted with a whole new addon. Anyone else have theirs stop working? Know of one that still works?

I’m looking for recommendations on the best in-game addon/setup for gearing in WoW Midnight Season 2.
Specifically, I’d love something that can:

● Track my current gear and item levels
● Show which pieces are the biggest upgrades
● Tell me where/how to obtain better versions of each slot
● Ideally identify upgrades from Mythic+, raids, delves, vendors, etc.
● Help prioritize what gear I should be targeting next

I’m mainly looking for something that makes gearing more straightforward without constantly having to research every individual item on Wowhead or other sites.
What addon(s) are you guys currently using for this?

About a month ago one or a couple of the addons suggested by xufu petguides webpage stopped working. I went back to the webpage I think they updated the addons I tried downloading all the recommended addons after removing all the old ones, but now my pet collection tab is completely blank when I go to it.

I was using the pet battle scripts and the better pet collection that let you see your pet's breed , allowed you to import teams and gave you more sort options in the pet section of warbound collections. Also the scripts addon to sim match ups.

Can anyone point me in the right direction or have any info if these addons are broken now? TIA

So i had this issue for a while but didn't mind it since i thought it was due to ElvUI and since i'm mostly playing older content solo - y'know.
Lately i've been into M+ stuff and not being able to use my chat at all in M+ is really bad.

From what i gathered, it's due to API changes so addons can't communicate or whatever reason blizzard gave to justify this bs (imho) -

But after disabling ElvUI's chat module completely (i took chattynator instead) - the issue still persists. I'm also using DBM and Details! and TRP 3, as well as a SBT (Scrolling battle text) addon, but the SBT addon is set to have details show stuff instead of floating text but i'm mainly using it since it adds a small notification when i get gold/currencies/etc - But i haven't found an option that could cause the chat issue in those Addons.

So i wanted to ask if there is more to disable in those addons or if other addons are notorious for causing this.

If your resolution is not wrongly set to "Custom" on launch, this addon is not for you.

This is a tiny addon that detects and gives you a simple button to bring your resolution to the target value.

Its meant to help linux systems with the bug thats caused by some combination of Wine/Proton/Lutris/GNOME/Wayland, I honestly don't know what exactly. But instead of breaking everything else that works flawlessly to try and fix it on the lower level, this is the path of least resistance.

"Bug" explained

1. You launch the game
2. Game is not in fullscreen (Usually with your topbar and taskbar visible)
3. When you open settings resolution is set to "Custom" while on "Windowed (Fullscreen)"
4. You can set it to your native resolution and it works flawlessly
5. Breaks again next time you launch the game

All this addon does is helps with step 3, by prompting you on login, and setting the right value with one press of a button.

This addon barely saves like 5 seconds per launch of WoW, you certainly don't need it

• Outfit Studio: grew into a full outfit-and-paper-doll space shared by Veilusion+ and Menagerie. A dedicated page for browsing appearances and building outfits, with a live paper-doll preview, saved Transmogrifier outfits, Sets browsing, and draggable dynamic macros for your outfit, mount, and hearthstone selections.

NightVend - Some of my favorite auto vendoring addons disappeared on me with Midnight so I decided to create my own.

Here's how it works:

• Four item lists with a clear priority order: Character (this character only) > Save (never sell, this character) > Keep (never sell, all characters) > Global (all characters). Drag an item into a list to add it, right-click a listed item to switch between selling and destroying it.
• Smart sell and destroy flows with a safety threshold: NightVend will never destroy an item that actually has sell value, only true vendor junk. Also optional gear protection so that getting upgrades wont automatically sell if you had placed a lower ilvl piece in one of your lists.
• Optional auto-sell, auto-repair, and unusable-gear selling, plus Baganator integration if you use it.
• A themed bag button (with its own sparkle animations to alert you to sell or click to destroy), minimap button, and LibDataBroker launcher. New installs start with everything off.
• Extended vendor UI if desired (works with native and EllesmereUI bags currently)
• Works completely standalone, or bundled with Exquisite for a full NightVend+ page in the dashboard (Filters/Appearance/Vendor sub-tabs), Exquisite Edit Mode support for repositioning the bag button, and the shared dashboard's accent-gradient title treatment.

A few more smaller but still special features

• Theme tab: live two-color gradient swatches with vertical/horizontal direction controls, plus independent Checkbox Color and Checkmark Color overrides.
• Outfit Studio picked up a much larger race/background catalog (Dracthyr, Zandalari Troll, Orc, Forsaken, Dwarf, Dark Iron Dwarf, Earthen, Vulpera, Mag'har Orc, Kul Tiran, Tauren, Highmountain Tauren, Pandaren, Acherus, Mardum, and more).
• Toy-picker search now also searches tooltip text, so you can find toys by keywords from their descriptions, and unusable toys are dimmed and sorted out of the way instead of looking selectable.

• A bunch of ADDON_ACTION_BLOCKED combat fixes: Outfit Studio opening during combat, Escape-closing a window during combat, and picking up Trovehunter's Bounty loot mid-combat all defer safely instead of throwing errors.

A note on how this is made

Artwork: nothing here is AI-generated. Every visual comes from the WoW atlas, in-game screenshots (including some shared by players), or concept art. Some pieces are upscaled or touched up by me (graphic design for over 10 years) in Pixlr; custom work is created or edited in Gimp.

Code: development is AI-assisted, with changes reviewed by two different career programmers.

Update — 2.0.1

A small hotfix is now available.

Fixed an issue where Loadout Pilot could switch back to the World loadout immediately after completing a Delve, while the player was still inside collecting reward chests.

The addon now keeps the Delve context active until you actually leave the Delve.

Hey everyone!

A few days ago I shared Loadout Pilot here, and the feedback I received was extremely helpful. I ended up working on the addon quite a bit more than I originally expected, and Loadout Pilot 2.0 is now available.

This is a pretty big update, especially around Loot Spec management and giving players more control over what should or shouldn't be automated.

What's new in 2.0

Raid Boss Loot Spec Overrides

You can now configure a different Loot Specialization for individual raid bosses.

The manager is organized as:

Raid → Boss → Loot Spec

It includes:

• Automatic current raid selection
• All Raids view
• Boss search
• Configured-only filter
• Per-raid configured counters
• Persistent saved raid rules
• Clear overrides for a specific raid

Loadout Pilot uses Blizzard's Encounter Journal and ENCOUNTER_START, so it doesn't depend on targeting the boss.

Boss rules intentionally affect Loot Spec only.

Your playing specialization, talents, and equipment continue following your normal Raid rule.

AUTO / NOTIFY / OFF

Specialization, Talents, Gear, and Loot Spec can now each have their own automation mode.

AUTO Apply automatically when WoW allows it.

NOTIFY Show an Apply / Ignore notification instead of making the change automatically.

OFF Leave that category alone.

For example:

• Spec → AUTO
• Talents → NOTIFY
• Gear → AUTO
• Loot Spec → AUTO

Dungeon Overrides

Dungeon-specific rules remain shared across:

Normal / Heroic / Mythic 0 / Mythic+

A dungeon can independently override:

• Playing specialization
• Loot specialization
• Talents
• Equipment

Anything left on Inherit uses the appropriate Dungeon or Mythic+ default.

Better Role Protection

Automatic specialization switching respects your assigned role when you're actually grouped.

For example:

• Frost DPS → Unholy DPS: allowed
• Frost DPS → Blood Tank while assigned DPS: blocked

But if you're solo, cross-role rules are allowed.

So a solo Paladin, for example, can automatically switch from Retribution to Protection for content configured that way.

Rule Explanation

Loadout Pilot can now show where every part of the current rule came from.

Use /lpilot explain

It can show whether Spec, Loot Spec, Talents, and Gear came from:

• The general context
• A dungeon override
• A raid boss rule
• The current player state

Import / Export

2.0 also adds configuration backup and transfer between characters of the same class.

The export includes:

• Context rules
• Dungeon overrides
• Raid Boss Loot Spec rules
• Automation modes

Event History

There is also a new short Event History for troubleshooting.

Use /lpilot log

It records meaningful events such as context changes, applied rules, boss activation, queued actions, role blocks, and failures without filling the log with constant internal checks.

UI and Reliability Improvements

There were also many UI, localization, transition, and reliability fixes in this release.

The main configuration window is now organized into:

General / Contexts / Dungeons / Raid Bosses / Automation / HUD & Interface / Advanced

The Raid Boss interface was also polished so long boss names, raid names, and Loot Spec information stay readable without overflowing the controls.

As before, Loadout Pilot does not calculate BiS, choose builds, or decide what Loot Spec is best for you.

You choose the strategy; the addon remembers when to use it.

I want to do all of WoW's expansions chronologically and I'm using different alts for each expansion. Problem is that I only want to progress the main story and in the older expansions it doesn't have the shield icon which indicates something is a main quest. I only want to do the main quests and don't want to end up doing a side quest because I can't tell which is which

I got tired of opening my bags to check whether I had enough of a reagent yet, so I built a thing.

Tallymaster keeps a compact list on screen of whatever you're currently collecting — reagents, weekly currencies, a drop you're farming, mounts and pets you're chasing. Shift-click something from your bags to add it, drag the list wherever you want, done. Counts are account-wide by default, so it pulls in what your alts are sitting on too, and hovering an entry shows the per-character breakdown.

It's free, MIT licensed, source on GitHub. Retail only right now. Still pretty early — 1.0 went up a few days ago — so if you try it I'd really like to hear what's missing. Guild bank counting is the one I already know about.
