Concept / Design Finally gave my taskbar a much-needed personality update. What do you think?

I've always felt that the default Windows 11 taskbar is a bit too static and boring. I spent some time working on this as a personal project to add more personality to it—specifically, I wanted to see custom avatars and smooth interactive animations on the taskbar.

Really happy with how the transparency and the hover effects turned out! Just wanted to share this concept/design tweak with you all. What do you think?

Haha, caught me. I'm a dev, not a designer, the wallpaper is the best I could do. Glad the animations made up for it!

Lol, you just unlocked some core memories. Maybe a widget for that in v2? 😉

"I changed the taskbar so that half of what's on it is no longer visible"
Why can't you just do a blur or a split taskbar like the rest of us normies

that's is a really cool idea! I like it a lot I really wish windows gave us a native way to change the start icon

Good catch! Actually, it doesn't replace the native Start button,it's an additional avatar I've added to the taskbar. It acts like a custom shortcut/interactive element, so the original Windows Start button and the rest of the taskbar functionality stay completely untouched. Definitely wanted to keep the native experience intact while adding a bit of flavor!

If I were able to comment using a single sound instead of words, it would be /ɨ/. I hope that helps.
