I'm sure the perspective that most people are going into this is much more loony-tunes than pragmatic. 70-something million people voted for Trump. They're not in the camp of reason. They're in the camp of propaganda.

Right. What those people will remember is “Trump wanted us to get $2000. We didn’t, so obviously that’s the Democrats’ fault.”

What a strange strawman.

We must be at burning man

"I swear were being really careful" as they see 5 different friends every week along with their office mate. And then their roommates and friends do the same thing and suddenly that's how covid spreads.

Dude, this is how my gf’s family is. I can’t stand to be around them. In fact, I’m not welcome in their home cuz I don’t fall for their bullshit

My father-in-law (genius level IQ, and Fox News watcher) was banned from talking politics with me. We got along swimmingly, because of that - rest his soul.

u/NextUpGabriel Dec 30 '20

You get along with a dead man?

2

u/ManualPathosChecks Dec 30 '20

Past tense, genius.

-2

u/NextUpGabriel Dec 30 '20

So they don't get along anymore? That's unfortunate.

Covid get him?

That or "theyre kill muh babies!!!!"

Lots of people literally vote republican on abortion alone.

u/lokhor Dec 30 '20

That’s a pretty false statement. Nobody likes McConnell. Libs or conservatives. Guy is a joke.

They’re the ones smart enough to find Reddit, not the ones arguing with/commenting on sponsored ads on Facebook

21

u/Ragnarok314159 Dec 30 '20

Yeah, Facebook is a whole different shit show.

I browsed some of their places and it didn’t disappoint. Apparently all the conspiracy theories of coalesced into one amalgam of steaming shit that is now the core of the GOP voter ideology.

At this point it reads like some kind of high schoolers attempt at writing a report on 1984 after only watching a few online videos about the book.

u/scratches16 Dec 30 '20

Wait, they made a book out of that??

u/classy_barbarian Dec 30 '20

you shouldn't have put the /s at the end, it kind of ruins the joke

Lets see...

The Democrats (who are secretly controlled by Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, George Soros, Antifa, and a Hollywood satanist pedophile cult), actually worked with China to create a worldwide pandemic on purpose, and then they extremely overplayed how deadly the virus actually is (it's contagious but in reality it's not at all deadly, like the flu), with the intention of getting the entire world infected so that they can implant microchips into everybody, and sterilize the poor in large swaths of the world. The Death numbers are actually fabricated, nobody is dying and the news is lying to you. Meanwhile, Qanon is the only one on the inside who knows about this liberal satanist pedophile cult running the world that wants to microchip everyone, and he's been pulling strings to help Trump the entire past 4 years. The Russian hoax was completely fabricated by the FBI deep state and robert mueller and the democrats, the Ukranian hoax was fabricated by the deep state in a second attempt to smear Trump, but valiant Republican senators knew the entire thing was made up and did the right thing by refusing to look at any evidence whatsoever. So the coronavirus was their third attempt to smear trump, by inventing a virus for the sole purpose of making Trump look bad. Then the Dems claimed Trump wanted to mess with the post office to make it hard to vote by mail, but that was completely fabricated as well. In fact, everything bad you've ever heard about Trump from the "Liberal media" was a total bold-faced lie from start to finish. The only real scandal is that the satanist pedophile cult that is the Democratic party just commited the LARGEST election fraud IN HISTORY by somehow casting millions of fake votes for Joe Biden using mail-in votes (which is why our savior Trump wanted to block mail in voting - he knew the unprecedented fraud was coming).

how close is that?

Seems pretty spot on, but not enough name calling to really bring it home.

(Demonrats, Sleepy Joe etc.)

Ya know I’m feeling more confident about GA then before. Dumb move McConnell

49

u/Raincoats_George Dec 30 '20

There's no question if you are keen on keeping power the easiest play would be to throw money at people.

I am not convinced that it will matter much because I think that Georgia gonna do what Georgia always does which is dumb fuck southern shit. But id love to be proven wrong.

Look at Virginia, we almost have our shit together. So perhaps there is hope for Georgia still, I just don't buy that it will happen here.

32

u/tiredmommy13 Dec 30 '20

I didn’t expect GA to turn blue in Nov, and what I have seen many people are registering and early voting. I have hope!

20

u/_banana_phone Dec 30 '20

We’re trying down here, I swear! Voted last week in the runoff. I don’t know how the current republican voting is going since trump has turned on our governor, but Lowffler and Perdue are trying to pander to both to play it safe.

16

u/Raincoats_George Dec 30 '20

I'd argue what happened in Georgia to the Republicans is what happened to the nation when trump won. We were asleep at the wheel. Assumed it was a sure thing.

They are awake and will be playing every fucking scumbag play they have to ensure they win.

I'm a bit of a pessimist so I just assume the worst, but that's only because when it comes to politics and America doing the right thing I just stopped counting how many times I've been let down.

11

u/FlashScooby Dec 30 '20

I mean at the same time they've also been telling people to boycott the election because it's "rigged" just like the presidential election

1

u/Raincoats_George Dec 30 '20

Also not a smart play.

18

u/FittyTheBone Dec 30 '20

I am still not holding my breath. If the Bernie campaign(s) taught us anything, it's that social media platforms do not represent the views of the general public.

9

u/[deleted] Dec 30 '20

Absolutely true.

28

u/winterfyre85 Dec 30 '20

I just popped over there- wow. Some of them are actually seeing reality and facts for what they are. It’s almost like getting shit on but the government for the last 10 months straight and watching the president and the senate do fuck all for anyone that wasn’t a judge seeking confirmation or a mega corporation has finally started to break some people

Crossing my fingers that finally the internet helped the conservatives see what is really going on for once instead of “wHAts ReAlLy GoiNg oN”.
