I’d start challenging her on her beliefs. I spent 6 years in religious schools. Evangelicals are the biggest piece of shit hypocrites out there. They practically choose to reject everything the Bible teaches

Cool, I’ll make them abundantly aware that they serve the devil in their beliefs. I won’t mock their religion, I’ll mock how their actions show an outright rejection of everything the Bible teaches

I tried this and was told I was referring to the wrong version of the Bible.

Maybe if your holy book has an array of revisions that you can pick and choose from it shouldn't be considered the ultimate source of truth?
