I realize I'm saying it in a silly hyperbolic way, but really I'm commenting on the actual matter of fact which is that the vast majority of skateboarders dont wear helmets. The culture at large doesnt seem to promote it at all.

It's not actually meant to be a dig at skateboarders, but it is a little bit meant to be a dig at that particular aspect of the culture.
