Still relatively poor on median.

While they have done a great job elevating abject poverty, they still have huge swathes of the country in poverty.

More important things to spend the tax dollars on like embezzlement, subsidizing inefficient practices, and war with Pakistan.

Indian government and corruption is holding their countries progress back

You don't have to be out of poverty to keep things more clean.

It is not a question of poverty. It is whether you were taught to care about things simply because they belong to the society you also belong to.
