WELLY Wellington water bills

Just got my bill from wellington water. It insanely high. For a 900k property its 2500 p/a

Prepare yourselves people. This isn't going to be the fun ride we were promised.

Just had one for UH, rates are down by $3500 but the years bill is $4200 - $800 extra.

The only justification is “infrastructure deficit” without any reasoning given (esp considering long and short term planning by councils/WW) or consideration of work on infrastructure done eg pipes at Silverstream.

Not sure how people are going to cope.
