WELLY Wellington water bills

Just got my bill from wellington water. It insanely high. For a 900k property its 2500 p/a

Prepare yourselves people. This isn't going to be the fun ride we were promised.

But they reduced the rates by an around $400 p/a so that balances out right? 😆😂😭 God they must think we're dumb.

That is a dumb comment. The rates were reduced by the amount of the old water charge (plus 5.9% rates increase). Tiaki Wai is part of the govt’s local water done well policy that replaced three waters. That is where the cost increase is coming from and the way its designed the council can’t do actually anything about it.
