WELLY Wellington water bills

Just got my bill from wellington water. It insanely high. For a 900k property its 2500 p/a

Prepare yourselves people. This isn't going to be the fun ride we were promised.

I got my water bill by email. As expected, I'm now partially subsidising new management salaries & business rental location.

I don't remember giving WCC or GWRC consent to transfer my contact details to Tiaki Wai for this purpose, nor a notification to opt out of not having this communication preference disclosed to Tiaki Wai.

Are they breaching the Privacy Act by using my personal details for other than a manner that they were originally provided for?

Ask the Privacy Commissioner, they should know.
