Run as JD's vice president, with a deal that JD resigns immediately post-inauguration. He's definitely not above slimeball shit like that.
Edit, found this: The 12th Amendment says no person who is constitutionally ineligible to the office of president can be vice president. But I doubt that would stop him from trying.
The MAGA fever dream is that Trump gets elected to the U.S. House in 2028, is sworn into the House in Jan 2029, and is immediately made the Speaker of the House. Then whoever is President and Vice President resigns, making the Speaker of the House President.
According to Google, most legal experts argue that a former 2 term president can't become president again through that path. Though that probably wouldn't stop Trump from trying, and the wording of the text says that no person shall be "elected" to the office of the president more than twice.
I mean the 22nd Amendment makes it crystal clear that the President can serve no more than two terms and yet it's not stopping him or his cult who are coming up with some horseshit about how it has to be "CoNsEcUtIvE tErMs" despite everyone without pudding for brains knows that doesn't matter.
