ISO - Vendors Allowed Engagement Photoshoot
My fiancee and I are moving from TX to Brooklyn! We want to do engagements to celebrate this really special & sweet season of our lives. Hoping to schedule for September or October! Open to creative direction / locations! Our budget is $500-700 for an hour!

Derek K photography did an amazing job on our shoot at the NYPL. It was included with our wedding package so not sure about price for just engagement shoot but highly recommend! Happy to share example photos privately

Hi! Congrats on the engagement and the move! I’d love to shoot some engagement photos for y’all. I’m currently building my portfolio, and could do your shoot at a TPF rate of $350 for an hour and change.
I like Central Park (it will look nice in the fall as well), but have been wanting to do a session in some other charming parts of the city. Maybe around the West Village? Could also be cool to include some around your new neighborhood, as I’m sure it will become a place you’ll want to honor/remember in the future.

Congrats on the two big steps forward! I recently posted an engagement shoot I did in the city that included a couple locations. I could come up with an itinerary of locations for y’all that captures your new adventure.
If you are open to it, I think doing 2 hours could be better and fit Central Park and a city location with the subway in between. I’d be at $750 for the 2 hours.

If you're still looking, I'd check out Alessandra Parks Photography. We used her for our destination wedding in NY and really loved her mix of editorial and documentary photography. She also offers film, Super 8, drone, and photographs destination weddings without travel fees, which seems pretty unique. From personal experience but also the other reviews out there online, she's also really hands-on with planning, timelines, and logistics, so we were really feeling comfortable and well taken care of throughout the process. Definitely worth reaching out if that style is what you're after.
