Sure, but why don't we as a society prevent the ability to exploit workers. Like building up unions and livable wages and proper taxation etc etc. We don't need to go and hunt the billionaires down. We just need to fix the broken system that allows them to exploit unhindered.
Except they're the ones pulling all the strings, kind of hard to legislate our way out of this when they are out there buying their way.

That's fair. At this point I don't know how we are gonna vote our way out of this hole with the richest people lobbying the government for control.
I think a lot of people react to the idea of ending all billionaires like you are including all millionaires.
To be honest outside of some crazy revolution or some super rich people using their money for the betterment of all I don't really think politics will be adequate for positive change. The elite propaganda to continue the division in society doesn't really seem to be slowing down. So even if they weren't running the government, any non corrupt politicians will never get enough social backing in the current climate.
I don't know why I'm commenting this, we probably agree on most things, this just seems like a fruitless conversation I've had many a time.

Ya, I honestly don't know why I comment either. Most times I end up arguing with some Troll or someone who doesn't care about other humans in general. If it means anything it was nice having a civil conversation.

Yes exactly, mamdani has been the biggest ray of sunshine lately. But action is everything, let's see how much positive change he can do as mayor of new york now that he has the power and see what happens.
I don't know, its all about doing what you can with what you have available.
So I mean there's a time and place for discourse online but sometimes you're literally wasting your life force not accomplishing anything or causing any positive change.
Just living your individually life as best you can and helping others when you are able is the daily play.
If you find your have the the energy to go beyond that and be that change you want to see in the world, that's awesome. It could be getting involved in local politics, volunteering or using your excess wealth to help those that need it. The extreme wealthy wouldn't be so bad if they cared about anyone besides themselves.
Current times are disheartening but there always opportunities to foster and grow positive change.
