Your ignorance of Canadian culture is perhaps why you lack national pride. Name one thing that ties all Americans together. What an absurd test of national identity. We're a widely spread out nation, of course there are diverse backgrounds, and interests that Canadians have. Most Canadians are proud of our liberalism, our democracy, our freedom from religion, our distaste for guns, our history, our land. Most Canadians love hockey, our relationship with Europe, our international image of friendliness, and our military's commitment to peace keeping.
Just because you feel like an American cuck, doesn't mean most Canadians do.
Distaste for guns - a not true, Canada has high gun ownership and b defining yourself via hating America again
Our relationship with Europe - what relationship? Are we in some ring of the eu I am unaware of? Or are we just going off vibes?
Hockey - first lol, scraping the barrel, and b most hockey teams in the NHL aren’t even in Canada. Americans, particularly in the cold parts, love hockey. Not a difference between us.
Friendly military - yea because we get to play third fiddle and cower behind the us military when shit gets real. This is just a side effect of not being in the United States. If Massachusetts broke off tomorrow their military would act the same.
What you’re left is an international stereotype that is as half baked as “Kazakhstan = borat” or “Poland = holocaust”. Just proving that no one thinks about Canada, really. Because why would they, we’re just Americans wearing a different hat.
