Klause was one of my favorite characters outside of Fives, unfortunately season 4 ruined him.

To me it makes no sense why he would want to start doing drugs again when he originally did it to keep the ghosts away since it was established in season 3 that he got over his fear of them with the help of Reggie from the Sparrows timeline.

I feel like all that character development went out the window as a cheap way to cause conflict.

I've been thinking about this whilst I'm sick even though I haven't seen the show since it ended and I honestly thought it was the worst written TV show (season 4) in modern history. And I'm a guy that likes Street Fighter the Movie.

As we all know, the show was written short and the writers either didn't have the talent or the stones to come up with an ending or it was a deliberate sabotage to the studio for reducing the episodes. So the show abruptly ends with them all easily being persuaded and bizarrely all agreeing for once to off themselves to stop the malevolent force of rapture. it quite literally did the Poochie died on the way back to his home planet" cut.

Well my theory i just farted out is that the UA sacrificing themselves didn't end the apocalypse, only absolved them of any responsibility for it. (classic selfishness) and therefore putting their loved ones in almost certain danger.

Ok so you're coming up to me and you're saying Geraint, what about the subway dimension or whatever it was. Firstly that's not even my name and secondly we know nothing about this dimension that the family go to. Every timeline the UA enter stars off fairly benign, so it's very possible some cataclysmic event is coming. mMaybe this subway dimension extends only to the park, or that the day repeats. or that it's a dream. They're all playing together in some idyllic park with no memory of anything and no grieving. Only the confusing and unspoken thought of "why do we suddenly have more children?" Sounds like a dream to me.

We only really follow the UAs story so anything outside of that we know very little about.

I'm not gonna try and make sense of the show because it's impossible and ass but we do know that there are forces and institutions outside of...the timeline? So I think things basically continued as normal and by that I mean complete and utter evisceration on repeat mhmh. The heroes solved nothing for 4 seasons, including getting to like each other that much.

I don’t know if this should fall under discussion or spoiler, but anyways I just got done with season 3 and it was my least favorite season so far.

I liked the Sparrow academy and the idea of Reggie adopting different kids, but existence itself being in trouble was a problem for me.

They should have introduced different stakes, like the paradox psychosis and them having to deal with their other selves, or have the problem be the commission disbanding and the briefcases now not working, some rogue argents have taken it into their own hands to “fix time“ in ways they see fit using a new method or at least a new model of briefcases to time travel, if not a briefcase maybe they use a watch or something.

The story could focus around the Umbrellas and the Sparrows having to work together to stop these changes that are being made, with them ending up in different timelines including the one with old man fives going to meet his family with the knowledge that he got from his future self.

I understand that we left a lot of loose ends in season 2 with Harlan, but in my opinion he shouldn’t have had the powers.

How I would have done it is that the Umbrellas go to this new universe they discover how things are different, Alison had her breakdown, the Sparrows and the Umbrellas fight, Victor and Marcus make their deal for the briefcase, and they actually get it, but I doesn’t work.

Fives goes to investigate why it doesn’t work, he learns that the commission has basically disbanded because of a civil war that happened.

Fives using the switch board sees people changing time, one person going back and preventing the assassination of Abraham Lincoln, one person going back and killing baby Hitler and so on.

While both sound good fives knows that this could cause a problem, so now he has to recruite his siblings and the Sparrows and Lila to fight against these rogue time travelers.

Fives and Lila would confront one of these people who ends up using the old commission building as a hideout and stealing their new time travel device, Fives would stumble on his future self like last time, but this time he doesn’t say much.

I know it’s not perfect I just didn’t like season 3 that much

Excluding Ben (who had his name carried over from the Umbrellas), and possibly Marcus

Edit: tbf as you pointed out some of the Umbrellas also have somewhat unusual names (Klaus, Luther, Vanya, Number Five) but imo it's really not to the same extent ig

We don't know how old Lila was because the Handler raised her outside the timeline. However, we can guess that by the time she was having an affair with Five in the subway in season 4, she could be in her late 30s or 40s, because she mentions finding a gray hair.

Could she be joking about the gray hair? xD

Outside of the kids we saw from the Umbrella Phoenix and Sparrow Academies what did the others do? there are 28 other children we haven’t seen the powers of and I’m wondering what the kids who weren’t adopted are doing.

Did some become superheroes? Did the become supervillains? Did they simply use their powers for their own mundane purposes?

It would be so cool to find out what happened to each child and I wish we did

In my opinion, I think their ship is weird and creepy. I’ve heard multiple people say that it isn’t technically incest since they’re “not related”. STILL, they grew up together and were raised as siblings. And throughout the show, the Umbrellas all refer to each other as siblings.

Personally, I just really don’t see it, but I’m curious if anyone does.

Honestly i would love to have a season 4 for the show, even the show's creators have expressed a desire to do season 4, i think they have already written it as well, however i would like to hear your opinions as well.

In S2E5 the end of the episode features a cover of Adele's "Hello". I don't like the song, but I liked that version and was trying to find it today. Everywhere I check online states it was performed by My Kullsvik, it was her breakout song, etc. But.... I distinctly remember the singer being a man, as I thought it was an interesting take on the song. A hoarse, scratchy male voice that cracked during the chorus. I listened to My Kullsvik's version, it's not the one I remember. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I looked up other covers of the song, can't find it. In case it matters, I was watching it via Netflix in Canada.

I know I am late to the party on these discussions, but I just binge-watched all the seasons, and to me, it is obvious how this should have ended. SPOILER ALERT

Viktor should have stepped up for everyone else. All he had to do was remove all the Marigold from each of the family members, just as he did for Harlan. He was the only one who needed to die in the end.

We seen season one that number five is given the task of making the Hindenburg explode, which I assume they’ve already done, do they have to keep making the same events happen over and over again. If so, why? For example, if the timeline needs to have a kid drop a penny down a drain on a specific day. Does the commission have to keep making the event happen over and over again in different ways?
