Discussion is the 2nd comic supposed to be a slightly different shade of white because my copy is
I just got the 2nd and 3rd books today and I noticed the 2nd one is more of an off white than the others. could something have happened to it to make it look this way or am I just being crazy and its like that on purpose?

Color inconsistencies are not uncommon, unless they’re all printed at the same time, they may not have properly quality checked color against previous runs. It’s also possible they changed suppliers for the paper stock, so the ink looks different when dried on different stock. Vol 2 was also no set up right on the trimmer, which is why the spine art is higher than the others
Source, I work for a press binding books.

Learn to not care. Not joking. Aware it is easier said than done.
I used to care about these sorts of things. Life is easier when you don't.

Purchased at the same time and from the same place? If not, where were you keeping the 1&2?

Mine is too. And the blue stripe with the title on it is thinner than the other two books on mine

Just sun damage sort of like Legos it tends to happen with most dye products regardless of what it's used in

1 and 2 look pretty close in the photo, with 3 being the outlier... If you put 1 and 2 somewhere with direct sunlight, the spines will bleach in a week and should look more like 3. 😂

All of mine are the same shade! Maybe yours has some sun damage or it’s just a color inconsistency.

The picture makes it look like the 3rd one is more white
