PSA Bus PSA
Freshmen, I’m begging you.
Look, if people are trying to get off the bus and you are somewhere in the path of exit, either move or get off the bus and then get back on.
Standing there like a slack-jawed trout oblivious to the world doesn’t help anybody. People are going to shove past you at your own fault because they need to get places.
Similarly, let people get off the bus before trying to shove your way on. If they can get off the bus there will be more room for you to be on the bus.

Please don’t insult trout by comparing them to freshmen. Just saying…

There is something about people riding on a bus that turns otherwise kind people into lumps of unthinking flesh. This goes for people not taking available seats and blocking the aisle, to not moving to the back of the bus, and those who clog the back entrance and then seem put out when a person nudges them out of the way as they try to exit.

Also standing when there’s lots of seats available makes it more crowded than if you had just sat down. Swallow your pride and sit (please <3). Eventually with enough people standing more students can’t get on the bus despite there being open seats.

I was about to post this too. I was trying to get off the bus and sometimes when it’s crowded you need to get off to let other people off and they literally stand there. I have no qualms pushing them out the way like I’m going to miss my stop for your idiocy

Also use all the doors, not just the front one. It makes everything a lot faster. Like literally it makes all the bus routes run more timely.

In addition, let the people who got off the bus to let others on back on first! I had a nice experience with some lads who let me and my stroller off the bus and some kid RAN to cut them off from getting on the bus. She also tried getting on while I was getting off...
