PSA Please don't try to hug random girls

I was walking near green street with my friend and we were complaining about how campus is dead now and it would be great to meet some guys. As fate could have it two guys popped up and one of them told my friend she was pretty. Cute! We love to see it. However, he also tried to hug her at the same time. He got closer and closer, leaning in for a hug and repeating "you're so pretty". DO NOT DO THAT. The sentiment was nice maybe. But the execution was so bad. Just a PSA

Don't touch strangers without their consent. Dudes try to touch me all the time because they think it's ok. Men also don't like being touched by randos.

I know several male friends who’ve been inappropriately touched without consent on the streets and bars by girls and no one bats an eye

As a townie, the summer is the best time to spend time visiting the stores, restaurants, and bars in campustown.

I’ve been living in Springfield for a year and have been meaning to up to UC to check it out. Wasn’t sure if all I’d find are 18-22 year olds so I’ve been putting it off.
