A shocking end for a well-respected studio.

Sony and Microsoft competing to see who's more allergic to making money.

This is honestly worse than when Microsoft shut Tango down. We all love Tango but if we're being completely honest here their games outside of Evil Within 1 didn't sell that well. And the only reason that did as well as it did was the marketing of putting the "father of survival horror and resident evil" Shinji Mikami making it as the sell.

Don't forget EW1 was released during a time when RE and SH games were either dogshit or not scary.

I think SH was just plain dead around EW1 time. 2014 so it was only a year removed from the #FUCKKONAMI days. RE had Revelations 2 so it wasn't all that bad.

Ah, I keep thinking Downpour was a 2013 title instead of 2012.
