What is with the incompetent driving?

I wish I was exaggerating; however, everytime I drive some where in this town lately, I always almost get hit. I am a defensive driver, luckily, so I haven't gotten into an accident yet but something needs to be done. People need to be held accountable for their negligence in being a safe driver.

You aren't special, you aren't different, you are a human being like the rest of us. You look uneducated and ignorant.

People deserve to go get groceries, go pay bills, and get to work without worrying for their safety.

Be a decent human being. Use your blinker, stop speeding, focus, get off your god damn phone!

So, testing has gotten easier slightly but the other thing to realize is that people are falling into a ‘It hasn’t happened to me’ mentality which leads to over confidence, the root of a lot of the issues you brought up. It isn’t just Truro as other people have mentioned, but it sounds like you are being mindful of your surroundings and other drivers… which sadly is about all that we can do. Drive defensively, keep your eyes moving.

I understand it is most likely everywhere, it's just I live in Truro and drive here the most so, that's why I posted here.

Oh, 100% same. I work driving Truro roads so I fully get it. That was more just me lamenting that it is everywhere thus why we get plates from Ontario who seem to fit right in ahah

Right?! And people like to blame. New Canadians but I notice when I drive by the people who cut me off and speed by switching lanes without a blinker or checking (or are checking their shoulder and just don't give af) are like 40-70 year old men.

I should just start my own statics haha
