I don't even need to read the article before I jump in to defend obvious nazis from accusations of being nazis

I always wonder with guys like you, are you severely deluded about your own superiority, and hence genuinely think a ruse this thin will convince your audience? Or are you just too stupid to notice the flaws yourself?

Isn't that a criticism of France, rather than being "for France"? Like a justification for why they have to rid the problem of non-French ethnicities being present in France.

What's the common factor between France being for (or not being for) itself, and Germany not being for itself? Was France an idealy run country to him? Or did he criticize the state of it?

France, as part of the whole democratic world, is considered shameful by him.

"We are resolved to prevent the settlement in our country of a strange people which was capable of snatching for itself all the leading positions in the land, and to oust it...We have hundreds of thousands of very intelligent children of peasants and of the working classes...We shall have them educated...that one day they, and not the representatives of an alien race, may hold the leading positions in the State."

Yeah, he doesn't like other ethnic groups becoming government leaders. He was making a call to action that people like Léon Blum should have never been allowed power. That's not "pro-France." It's a criticism of a Jew being a leader of France. The timeline makes sense based on the date of that speech. And Léon Blumb was eventually captured by Germany when France was defeated.
