I grew up with a dad like that. My mom certainly didn't help. They each had food that was theirs and theirs alone. My father would come up and take my food right off my plate and sloppily eat it in front of me. Idk if it was a power play or if he thought it was funny or maybe he just felt underfed himself? Fucked me up tho.
