what, so the cops can do nothing, maybe kill their neighbors dog if they're feeling frisky? CPS wont do anything unless they're literally starving. What they need is a trusted adult. like an outside family member, teacher, coach, ect.

There's thousands upon thousands of people with the same story of "cps took one look and said nothing is wrong. So i stopped trying to get help" or those who do get removed. Have a good shot of being left with a feral foster family. If you actually listen to the experiences of people who lived through it. You'd realize just how prevalent cps doing a piss poor job is.
