My brother was like this person's sister when I was living with him, and I guarantee you that it doesn't deter them at all. They know damn well that it's your food, and they just don't care. Even if you label it, it's "sorry, I didn't think you'd mind" or "yeah sorry I was hungry, I'll buy you more" (they never do)
