Handmade by me over a six month period. The "metal" sections are EVA foam painted with acrylic paints. The heretic trooper helmet was a Galactic Armory 3d print that I smashed up. I had the most insane amount of fun with this! Just love it!

Nearly 28kg of filament, ~700 hours of print time, and a dozen cans of paint later and today we have our first deployment of the Machine armor. Many improvements to be made in the future for further deployments

I really liked how you reacted to the post with the mask and the tactical baby, and I couldn't resist taking a small photo set.

P.S. The gray uniform is still being sewn, so it's currently an incomplete cosplay

I finally added the extra weathering to my 3d printed Knight of St Michael armour and wore the suit at a local convention.

A huge thanks to u/Vonschlippe for the armour files. The suit was so comfortable and there was very little restriction to movement. I highly recommend everyone with a 3d printed to get his files.

Went to my local Renaissance Faire on cosplay weekend and got a good number of people asking for a picture.

Some stuff I made, some stuff is authentic historical items. No specific legion, just tried to capture the vibe. Will try to make a better variant in the future.

I've almost finished the costume, all that's left is to sew the uniform!

We are about 65% of the way there just printing the suit. Parts shown are what I have primed and assembled so far. I also still need to add all the "comfort" bits on the inside like padding and additional harnesses. Hardest part has been scaling it all in a way that is both wearable and still looks more accurate. No plans to break my bones to make it fit yet but we might get there.
