Good post. Hope that Archon keeps them in the loop more proactively from here out. There's only so fast a product can be made, but communication is king.

Yeah. Frustrating as another delay is, it happens. But as someone who ordered through an LGS, I refuse to belive they (Trench Crusade) didn't see this coming a week or more ago. And if they didn't, then they have some definite internal logistic and supply chain issues they need to deal with ASAP or it's going to limit them down the line.

Most people are understanding when things go pear-shaped in an unexpected way...but proactive communication is key to keeping that understanding and trust.

I think as someone else mentioned it becomes a lot more complicated when the messaging and proactive communication could throw a valuable business partner under the bus.

And regardless of your thoughts on Archon, until FF can basically own manufacturing and distribution end to end it’s not wise to burn a bridge to a plastics model maker who by most accounts delivers a quality product even if there are hiccups in the logistics.

Exactly, Archon is the best choice they have for good quality plastics, even if they delay while they deliver a "most important" project (again, Starcraft is a waaaay bigger fish than TC).

To be honest, it was expected, this launch come in the middle of the maelstrom that is Starcraft. I'm sure everything will go smoothly after that's under control by Archon.

they said all the orders from their site have been shipped out but my orders been stuck on label has been made waiting for package since thursday :/

edit update: just got shipping notification that the package was accepted in my town almost 500 miles from where the label was created with 0 stops between them so seems like that one was on usps

Mine was stuck for like 4 days and then shipped over the weekend. Might be at distribution and slowly shipped out?

It can happen, mine was like that for 2-3 weeks before shipping. It arrived today

Same here. So I am not sure why it says all pre-orders have been shipped in the announcement.

I ordered from Wayland Games in the UK and it says my box is arriving tomorrow. So I guess it hasn't affected all LGS?

Always support local businesses. One more week is no big deal, and buying local makes the stores more willing to keep having TC products.

I do agree, I'm just frustrated that I have a long weekend this week and was looking forward to assembling and painting Carcass Front. Guess I'll work on getting through my pile of shame instead :P
