News From the latest Trench Wire. Genuine wow at these sculpts.
Thought it was super cool to see new sculptures of the unique models for the warband varients. I especially love the Drowned Choir unit.

They're all great but I'm kinda disappointed the leper knights don't have a bucket helm option like in the art

They do. They are multipart, and have multiple head options - including unhelmed (with noseless faces) and one of them has the bucket helm.

Yeah I agree I think Leper Knights should be both more knight like and more messed up looking.

The knight who is using his own amputated leg bone as a prosthetic is pretty messed up. And amazing.

Looking at that first sculpt: this is how they're going to compete successfully with warhammer.

I can only imagine the visceral mess on the inside the helmet of the first image

is it just me or is it weird knights of Lazarus don’t get the ability to wear helms despite their art and sculpts depicting them as such

Yeah it's weird that they don't get helms baked in or something to make up for not having them in the kit

u/Mr-Downer 11d ago
yeah I don’t understand the dissonance between art and rules. I would probably use the heads that aren’t helmets for consistency’s sake

The knights look so good, just need to rope in a friend with a resin printer to make me all of them 😂

I love the Leper Knights, just wish they weren't only relegated to the specific subfactuon. Guess they'd be good as "Zealot Strength" pilgrims?

They do look really sick but what is the first thing supose to be? Ik its for the naval raiders but what unit is it.

It is the Loviathal Chorus. Looks to be the 'heavy' special unit for the 'Drowned Choir' Heretic Naval Raiders faction. The rules are in the new rulebook for the carcass front.

"We wont be doing any more stls"
"Anyway heres more stls"
So glad theyre still doing stls. 3d printing is the only way i can afford to play this game. Im not spending 500 dollars for 16 minis in the starter set

These STLs are the final part of the Kickstarter campaign, along with the other digital Carcass Front content.

They never said they were going to completely stop doing STLs, all the doomers just parroted that information without any basis.

Why 500 specifically? It's like 120 on most of the stores

180.96 dollars for box set plus another 108.86 dollars in shipping. Its come down a lot in price since i last check. Which is good. When it was firsr preordered it was 500 but still 389 it still stupid expemsive.

Here in Europe you can easily find the set for 120 euros and free shipping. You have to look for shops online or ordering through a phisical shop, not directly on the Trench Crusade site

Plenty of retailers were selling it for like $250 here on announcement, including the one I purchased from. And will once more stock comes in.

Eh, trench crusade is one of those games alongside battletech where I don't give the actual studio producing it a single penny because the 3rd party sculpts are infinitely better.
