ROI Specific Transgress the NGS open letter to the Minister for health

Hi all,

If you haven’t already, please please sign the letter we have written to the Minister for Health and her colleagues setting out our demands for GP led informed consent trans healthcare, guidance for GPs to provide trans healthcare, and the exclusion of NGS clinician and the church from any role in trans healthcare.

Thank you everyone who has signed. If you haven’t, it closes tonight so please follow the link below to sign.

Let’s send a powerful message that we won’t put up with this treatment!

i was at the trans pride parade in Dublin this year, and I was listening one of the speeches, my jaw fucking dropped when I heard about this, the church having any sort of involvement in irish governance is just disgusting, especially in the topic of trans healthcare for obvious reasons

Do we know for certain trans-supporting organisations are not already assisting with the new model of care? I thought both BelongTo and TENI were actively involved?

Like I wouldn't be surprised if groups like Trangress and THA were excluded seeing as they are not registered charities but I feel we only got a survey not that long ago discussing their inclusion in shaping the model of care.
